Choose one of the thirteen LPGA founders — other than Patty Berg and Babe Zaharias, who are covered in this lesson — and find three specific facts about her career that are not mentioned in this lesson. Write them in your notebook with the source for each fact. This research will contribute to your Week 5 assessment.

The LPGA’s official website has biographical information on many of the founders, as does the World Golf Hall of Fame. Encourage your student to find primary or near-primary sources — newspaper articles from the era, contemporary profiles — rather than just modern Wikipedia summaries.
