A Well-Designed Golf Course

Discussion Question:

Think about a game or puzzle you enjoy. What makes it well-designed? what would make it too easy, or too hard? How does this connect to what a golf course architect is trying to achieve?

Parent-Teacher Note:

This lesson is foundational – it established the conceptual vocabulary for everything that follows in Week 3. The discussion question at the end is designed to connect abstract architectural concepts to the student’ sown experience of challenge and design. Take time with it before moving to Lesson 2.
